Introducing Axel; a loving and playful boy who adores human affection.
On arrival, Axel was nervous of the kennel environment. However, over the coming days as he became familiar with his surroundings and the staff he interacted with daily, Axel began to grow in confidence and would greet the staff each morning at the front of the kennel.
When out on his daily walks, Axel walks nicely on the lead and loves to explore.
He has spent some time in our secure compound where he has displayed a playful side; he will happily spend the afternoon chasing balls and will often show an interest in our agility equipment. This is where Axel appears to be most content and will jump up for a fuss and a cuddle.
Axel has met a number of our other dogs and although he is ok with some, he doesn’t like his spaced being invaded therefore he will need to be the only dog in the household and will require further training and socialisation around other dogs.
Axel is looking for a committed family who are able to provide him with daily walks and shower him in love and affection! Children in the household would need to be over the age of 16 years and he is unable to live with cats.
